Jennifer "Jen" Dodson, OTD, OTR/L, CHT

I’m an Occupational Therapist with a specialty certification in upper extremity rehabilitation known as the Certified Hand Therapist (CHT). I have over 25 years of clinical experience, am fellowship trained from the Philadelphia Hand Center in 2001, became a CHT in 2004, and obtained my Post-Professional Doctorate in Occupational Therapy in 2021. Concierge self pay services and some insurances accepted (contact for details). My clinic location is South Charlotte (Blakeney area). Mobile visits are limited to 10 miles of the Ballantyne bowl for self pay and SOME insurances (surcharge if further and are based on availability). I’m passionate about providing evidence-informed and client centered care. Highlights of my career include serving as a clinical specialist at a level one trauma center where I started the hand therapy program and serviced a variety of clients across the lifespan from the most severe injuries to athletes of all levels. In addition to clinical work, I am passionate about education and have taught across the US and Canada at conferences, am a fellowship instructor, and am an adjunct professor. I have authored chapters, participated in research, and participated in curriculum development.
